What is up with my blog?

When I try to post a picture it says image uploaded but just a bunch of mumbo jumbo shows up.

Conner is doing really well. He is constantly on his side. If it wasn’t for his left arm being in the way he could totally roll over. He usually always has his hand, fingers or thumb in this mouth. Actually anything that gets in his hand goes in his mouth. Occasionally he makes himself gag and his eyes get all watery becaue he puts his fist too far down. Whenever I go to check on him in his crib I never know what position he’ll be in. Usually he has turned sideways in the crib. We had a nice Father’s Day Weekend. On Saturday Steve, Becca, Lori and I went fishing at Deer Creek. We didn’t catch anything, but we still had a nice time. Sunday was spent at our family’s houses. I made Steve a shirt that said Dad est. 2009. I made Conner a onsie that said, “I’m the best Father’s Day gift ever.”

This is everyone that went fishing. Steve, me, his sister Becca, and his sister Lori.

Here is Conner sucking his thumb.

Conner's new favorite position. He starts on his back and changes to this pretty quickly. While I was typing all of this he was talking like crazy then all of a sudden he stopped. I looked over at him and he's asleep. We have been very blessed.

On Thursday we went to the stock parade. It was fun to see all the horses. On Friday we had the Ferguson family reunion and on Saturday we had the Gray family and we went to the Lehi Rodeo. We aren''t going to go to the Lehi Rodeo anymore. We enjoy the P.G. rodeo SO much more.

Steve and Conner at the rodeo. For the Ferguson reunion they went to the parade and then had a hot dog roast.

It rained on us but Conner stayed nice and bundled.

Conner is getting so big! Today he rolled over from his front to his back!

On a side note, Conner fell of the bed on Friday. I felt like the worst mom ever. I left him in the middle of the bed and got in the shower, seriously 3 minutes into the shower I was almost done and I hear this THUD! then I hear Conner crying. I jumped out of the shower and he had done a back flip off of the bed. He started on his back and landed on his stomach. I took him to the doctor just to have him checked out and he was just fine. But he has doubled from his birth weight. He was born weighing 7.4 and on Friday he weighed 14.7.

Strawberry Days

Conner went to his first rodeo last night. He did very well. Slept through part of it, and I don't know how. It was pretty loud, especially the motorcycles. We had a lot of fun. I enjoy it a lot more than Lehi Round Up. It is nice not having reserved seating. Because if people are late they aren't fighting everyone to get to their seats. The clown guy was better. He did the coolest things with a horse. The horse did all these tricks. He would show us all his teeth when they were talking about the dentist. The horse laid on the ground on his side and the clown laid on top of him. All sorts of cool things, they also did the motorcycle thing and I enjoyed that more this year than any other year. They have a better set up. And of course strawberries and cream. Oh yeah, they also have a section for wheelchairs, so they can watch the rodeo. Next week we are going to the Lehi Round Up which I don't think is as nice. Last night we sat in an area that if you didn't get there early it was hard to get to. So Steve and I had used three rows part way through the rodeo. We sat in the middle one, rested our feet on the bottom one and laid our backs against the top one. Pretty comfy. Here are some pics of our night. He doesn't have pants in some of them because he leaked through. We did the sneakiest and fastest diaper change ever in our seats. There is a bull behind us but you can't really see it.Conner sleeping at the rodeo.

Loving The Rain

Steve and I have really enjoyed all this rain. We'll just stand on our front or back porch and listen, tonight we even stood in it. This was outside our front porch.

Conner has been having a rough time these last couple of weeks. One of the last posts I mentioned he has acid reflux, well we haven't been sleeping well because of it. I was so grateful a couple of days ago when I got 3 hours and 45 minutes of sleep at once. Before that it had only been 2 hours. So my mom asked if Conner could sleep at her house Friday night. Steve and I went out to dinner and then we borrowed my parent's Wii and went back to our house. After an hour away from Conner I wanted to see him but I didn't. He was great for my mom. He fell asleep at 7:50pm. She said he didn't make a peep until 10:45pm. He took a bottle and went right back to sleep. He woke up again at 3:30 am took another bottle and went back down. My dad woke up at 6:30am and went and peeked at Conner. He was just laying in the pack-n-play playing with his hands. I am SO grateful that he was good for her. Steve and I had a Wii competition after we got home from dinner, two days later my arm is still sore. On Saturday my brother-in-law and sister-in-law had their baby boy. While we were visiting them at the hospital we heard Conner's first real laugh. It was so neat. Steve and I just looked at each other and said was that a laugh?I made a cheesecake Saturday night and I woke up in the middle of the night to feed Conner and Steve had decorated the cheesecake. I thought it was so sweet.
I know these look disgusting but they are my favorite meal right now!!! I have had them five days in a row, yeah they are that good.
They are BBQ nachos. When we went to Memphis I tried some and the other day I was craving them. I am not a huge BBQ sauce fan but this sauce is GOOD! So start off with some tortilla chips, get some nacho cheese (the real stuff, not melted cheddar) and then I just use the canned chicken from Costco because you aren't going to want to have to wait for these. Now for the sauce, you need a sauce that has some sweetness to it. I found some at the A.F. Walmart in the bulk food section. I don't know why but I couldn't find it at the Saratoga Walmart. The brand is Cattleman's the flavor is Sweet and Spicy. Mix the chicken up with the sauce. Get it pretty saucy, then I heat everything up and add some sour cream at the end. OOhhh they're good.
Conner started falling asleep in his jumper I thought it was pretty cute.

The above video is of one of my favorite sounds.
So, I am sorry that my blog is all about Conner but this is pretty much my family journal. I enjoy Conner SO MUCH, it is crazy what one of his smiles will do for you. Today at church Steve leaned over to me and said, "He is getting so big, so fast. I think it's time to have another one." I just looked at him and said you go ahead and pray about that.

A Weekend Of Firsts

My third post this week. This weekend Conner had a bunch of firsts. On Friday he had a doctor's appointment because he has been acting different this week. He hasn't been sleeping as much and has been more fussy. The doctor thinks it could be acid reflux. So she gave us a Rx and it seems to be helping. He isn't spitting up near as much. Then we took Conner to his first wedding ceremony and reception. On Saturday, Conner had his first hot dog roast. As well as his first shoulder ride. Can you tell I'm too nervous to get near the fire with him? Saturday night he went to his first drive-in movie. We saw Night at the Museum 2 and X-Men origins: Wolverine. Night at the Museum was kind of boring. All the funny parts were in the previews. The X-Men one was pretty good. I love how we do drive-ins. We take a truck and blow up an air mattress to put in the back, then we pile on blankets, and take our pillows. And of course drinks and treats. It was really fun, but we didn't get home till 2:30 am.Conner staying warm at the drive-in.
Today is Conner's 3 month birthday! At his appointment
on Friday he weighed 13 lbs.

Tonight we went to my sister's house to celebrate my niece Kaylees one year birthday, she is such a cutie.

One of Steve's favorite things is to "munch" on Conner's chin. In one of the pictures it looks like Conner is trying to do it back. I love my family.
