Our air conditioner is broken. We already seem to be hot all the time so to have your house at 78 degrees is NOT ok. It was either Wednesday or Thursday and the weather outside was way nice but really windy. We decided to open up our doors to get some cool air in the house since our windows won't open. Well shortly after we opened the doors the wind came through and slammed our back door closed. Normally not a huge deal except for the fact that our back door has a 25" by 25" piece of glass in it. When it slammed shut the glass shattered. The glass was in our house it was out on the driveway. So Steve ordered some more glass from Jones Paint and Glass but because it has to be tempered we have to wait a few days. So since Wednesday or Thursday strangers have had full access to our house. Kind of scary but at least we have a "window" open. Today some A/C guys came and said that we need a new air conditioner because ours is 30 years old and has a lot of problems. Too bad for our landlord.
Then on Thursday, I think, Steve woke up to brush his teeth and found a teeny, tiny spider on his toothbrush, then that night when I was bathing the kids there was another teeny spider along the side of the tub. After the kids got out Steve got into the shower. As soon as he got out he looked over at our bathroom vent and there were dozens of tiny spiders coming out of our vent. We grabbed the vacuum and started to suck them up. Steve said there were at least 40 to 50. An hour later we were still sucking random baby spiders up. Yuck!

On Friday I went to Seven Peaks with my sister, Debbie and her family. I took Shannon and Conner but Steve was at work. Steve and I got two of those Pass of all Passes for $37 a piece. So we have unlimited date nights already paid for to go to Flash basketball games, Owls baseball games, unlimited Orem and Lehi Trafalga and unlimited Seven Peaks. Love!
Getting ready to leave for Seven Peaks. Shannon is in a 12 month swimming suit. Good thing she had a full diaper to keep it on.
Conner was just walking by the wave pool completely oblivious to people around him. He was just loving his bottle of water.
We only stayed an hour and then headed home to meet up with Steve to go to the Strawberry Days Rodeo. It was such an awesome time. I love being with my little family. Conner absolutely loved the rodeo. His favorite parts were the mutton bustin and waiting for the horses and bulls to come out of the shoots. He would get so worked up with anticipation. I loved that they had fireworks at the end of the rodeo as well.
Conner, Larry (Steve's dad), and Steve's Grandma
Conner LOVES his Grandpa!
Saturday we woke up and went to the Pleasant Grove parade.
Relaxing and watching the parade.
Eating taffy. One of the fireman in the parade gave Conner this hat. I thought that made it extra neat.

I just loved that our days were filled with activities that we normally don't get to do as a family. I was suppose to go to a girls night that night but I got so sick. I have been nauseous all week but it hit me hard on Saturday. I finally figured out on Monday that it is some medicine that I changed to a couple of weeks ago. I am going to get off of them for sure I feel like I am pregnant and in my first trimester all the time. Obviously not fun.
After church on Sunday we all took a nap and just enjoyed each other's company. That evening we went to Steve's parent's house for dinner.
On Monday we had a, "Thanksgiving Dinner" at Lance and Amber's house. (Steve's brother). While we were there I cut out some vinyl for their girls bedroom. We decorated it with four different colors of vinyl polka dots in different sizes. Looks pretty cute.
Today I finished a cross-over pinafore for Shannon. Here is the website for the pattern.
This is the back of the pinafore. The pattern size is for 6-12 month but I wanted to try it on her now. I just need to find a bright yellow onsie.
My mom and dad are camp hosts up at a campsite called Spruces in Big Cottonwood Canyon. So we drove up there and spent a few hours with them.
Last week I spent some time at a different sister-in-law's house and helped her with some vinyl. Check this out.
This is one of the walls that we decorated with vinyl. She has an entire 50's theme basement. The room that you can see through the window is hundreds of flowers that we cut out to try and duplicate some wallpaper that she found online. She designed it in her head and then I designed it on the computer. It looks so awesome down there.

The vinyl looks darling. I didn't know you could do so much with it!
All those spiders... GROSS! I would seriously freak out.
Sorry about the window, air conditioner and spiders... not fun. But I am glad you had fun going to Strawberrie Day's with the fam. I was a bum and didn't go!
