2 Months Old
Conner had his two month well check up at the doctor's today. He had to get five shots in his thighs. Poor little guy. He cried so hard for about a minute and a half then he fell asleep. But every now and then you can tell he is in a lot of pain. He was hurting pretty bad after he woke up from a nap so I got in my swimming suit and sat in a warm bath with him to move his legs around. Right now you wouldn't be able to tell he got any shots at all. He is happy, talking non stop and smiling. Today was also the first time he didn't fit into a pair of his pajamas. Today at his appointment he weighed 11.3 lbs, and was 24 inches long. He is in the 75-90% for his height and 50% for his weight and head circumference. Tonight I had my cooking group. There are about 10 women in our ward who get together. Two women cook all the food and decide what they want to teach us. We meet once a month. Last night that taught us how to make homemade hummus, salsa, guacamole, and this dessert with plantains, dulce de leche and roasted pecans. They also spotlight a spice or herb as well as a cooking product. Last night they spotlighted cilantro. I didn't know that if you let cilantro go to seed that is where coriander comes from. Here is Conner's 2 month picture.
